Who I am

My name is Mantea Marian and I live in Romania. I started learning Japanese from scratch and, since I could not find a good app in my own language, I built one. That is Kanazora.

It is not a company and I sell nothing: the app is free, and hosting costs are covered by advertising.

What I can help with

Found a mistake? Tell me which character, word or exercise — the more precise, the faster I fix it. Japanese often has several correct answers, but real mistakes get fixed the same day.

Want something the app does not have? Tell me. Much of the roadmap comes from what people asked for.

A question about your data? Deleting your sync data, a GDPR request, a published deck you want removed — send me the code or the deck name and I will take care of it.

Saw an inappropriate deck published by someone else? Use the report button on the deck, or write to me directly.

How long a reply takes

Usually the same day or the next. If you have heard nothing in three days, send it again — it got lost.
